Christie has been working with and learning from homebirth families since 2003. She is a Certified Professional Midwife licensed by the state of Wisconsin to provide midwifery care.

Korina Bauer

Korina has been working with birthing women since 2004. She has cared for families as a doula, as an OB nurse and most passionately as a midwife.  Quality care to the families we serve stems from the professional support we provide to each other.

Laura Baxter

Laura lives with her husband and four children in Wausau Wisconsin. Laura has been a part of In the Beginning since the spring of 2018 and in early 2022 became a Certified Professional Midwife, licensed in the state of Wisconsin.
